CPCC has a proud and growing tradition of the participation in cricket by the female members of our club. Ever since Layelle Burke was bowling out the boys in the late nineties, an increasing amount of girls are taking to and enjoying cricket.

In 2008 local girl Mikaela Turik provided CPCC with the distinction of having our first junior to play international cricket when she was selected to play in the Canadian Women’s Open team at the age of 14.
